Dean Dorton Ford, PSC, has a strong tradition of community involvement and support, whether through philanthropic giving through the Dean Dorton Ford Foundation, charitable contributions, or employees volunteering their time.

Contributing to the local community is an essential part of life at Dean Dorton Ford. In fact, community involvement is one of our core values. As such, the firm encourages its accountants, consultants, and staff to volunteer in the community and to involve themselves in the civic activities about which they are most passionate. The firm promotes employee involvement by offering paid time off for volunteer time for all of our staff. During 2008, Dean Dorton Ford invested over 2,300 hours in service to community organizations. Employees of Dean Dorton Ford serve on the boards of and have leadership roles in nonprofit and civic organizations such as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association (ALS), Bluegrass Conservancy, Carnegie Center for Literacy & Learning, Commerce Lexington, Girl Scouts, Governor’s Scholar’s Program, International Book Project, Junior Achievement, LexArts, Opera House Fund, and Women Leading Kentucky.
